US food: appreciating "Girl Scouts cookies"
Context
I spoke at a conference in Las Vegas earlier this year (part of F5's AppWorld), and as I was due to meet with an American colleague I hadn't seen for a while, I brought him some French food.
Sadly Griff (that's his firstname) could not make it, and he had also bought food for me, which he shipped to France as part of our food exchange ;)
The food
Griff kept teasing me about "Girl Scouts cookies", which I didn't know, so that's what he sent me:
And I must admit that I liked them!
As you can see, he sent me 2 flavours:
- crispy with peanut butter,
- crisp with caramel coconut and dark chocolate.
In the package there was also an "Auto Air Freshener" with this mascot - it is from "Buc-ee's", a chain of gas stations that are also huge convenience stores, also known for their super clean restrooms.
Anyway, thanks Griff for those gifts!
