Update on my "web stats open source tool" article
As explained in my previous article, I chose AWStats as tool to see statistics about my website.
Arnaud rightly pointed out on Mastodon that my description was wrong: instead of looking for "an open source web stats tool", what I was really after was a tool to analyse web logs.
Which is true, and therefore gives me a bit more options, also given by Arnaud:
I will stick to AWStats, but those 2 are also options I would have considered. Of course, the look and feel is a bit outdated - and reflects the last time the project was updated (respectively 2013 and 2015).
More modern option
Laurent, still on Mastodon suggested GoatCounter.
While it falls into the "runs a Go webserver and therefore needs a reverse proxy in front", I may have a look at it, as I like its simplicity.
