Radiohead in concert at Movistar Arena, Madrid - November 8, 2025
Context
YES, this gig happened a while ago, and I didn't take time to write about it before.
This was my first Radiohead gig in 9 years, the last one being in Amsterdam in 2016, so to say that I was excited would clearly be an understatement.
Also, I went with my elder son, who was discovering Radiohead on stage for the first time.
Getting Tickets
A lot has been written on this: Radiohead decided to put in place a fairly complex pre-reservation system, where you had to register your email address, then if you were selected, you could try to buy a ticket.
My email address wasn't selected, but my wife's was, and I managed to buy 2 tickets for the last show in Madrid (although I had to buy the more expensive "VIP package" (which was not a VIP one, apart from some nice goodies, see below:)
This is clearly stated on that badge:
The Show
It was the first time for my at this venue, and I must admit it's a very nice
one.
Upon arriving, I could see the circular stage and was wondering how good the
show and visuals would be:
This was the last date in Madrid, and I had some friends who did the previous days, but I resisted checking their messages as I wanted to discover by myself.
In the end, I enjoyed the show a lot, there were 25 songs played (see setlist below), with a good balance between albums.

Wrap Up
Upon writing this article, I have a bitter sweet feeling: while I'm super happy to have seen Radiohead on stage again, with my son, it also feels weird to see them only once, and not knowing when the next time will be.
Ed recently announced in an interview that the band would be touring one continent per year for a maximum of 20 gigs per year.
