My Thinkpad Carbon X1 G6 has a touchscreen!
I recently moved my FreeBSD personal laptop to a much lighter and snappier one: a Lenovo Carbon X1 G6.
It's no longer produced as it's from circa 2018 but all the articles I read about it confirmed that FreeBSD support was great on that device - and I can validate that.
One thing I hadn't realised when I decided to go for this one: IT HAS A TOUCHSCREEN!
Not that I was especially looking for it, nor will I use it daily, but I
litteraly discovered it the other day by mistake: I was writing another blog
article, and when thinking about a sentence, I inadvertently touched the screen,
and the terminal "lit up" (as in: I had selected text).
I confirmed this by selecting a window bar and moving that window around.
Wow. Again, I'm not quite sure yet whether I'll be using that feature a lot, but I believe it can be handy in some cases!
