A 3D-printed case for our new Zigbee doorbell!
Context
When we got our gate, it came with a classical, wired doorbell:

The issue we (I) had with this was that:
- we have 2 different doors (I'll spare you the details) so I wanted a unique button to ring on both side - something the existing wiring did not allow
- home automation capabilities: a basic, wired doorbell is not easy to add to my existing home automation system.
The solution
Since most of my objects are using Zigbee, I figured out it would be nice to buy a Zigbee doorbell, and find a way to create a case for it.
I went with a SONOFF Zigbee doorbell.
As for the case, a coworker at my coworking place is a huge 3D-printing enthusiast, and when I mentioned this to him, he offered to create the case for me.
All I had to do was tell him what he needed, and he worked on it, and did a few prototypes:

Initial work in progress!
After a few iterations, I had this beauty ready to be installed:

And finally, this is the doorbell with its case once installed outside!

Wrap Up
We now have a doorbell that activates both bells, and also sends a notification on my phone in case I didn't hear the bell :)
