Review of Amazfish on SailfishOS
As a SailfishOS and smartwatch user, I'm using Amazfish companion app on a daily

I recently realised that (at least to my knowledge), there was no "proper"
review of it available out there, so I'm filling that gap with that article :)

Sites for manually drawing Running Routes (1/3)
This article is part of a series of 3, where I'm exploring the different options available for runners to create routes and then use them on their running watches.
- In this first article, I am testing the major sites able to draw running routes, with the use case of "drawing the route yourself, from a specific starting point/distance",
- The second article (to be published) will focus on sites publishing "popular routes in cities",
- The third article (to be published) will deal with "route shuffling", or sites that allow creating random routes from a specific starting point.

A quick look at why I moved my InfluxDB data away from one of my Raspberry Pi.
Domoticz and OPNsense (or the other way around)
This short article is a follow-up to my previous one on using the OPNsense API.
I'll quickly show how I am using Domoticz to easily change the gateway used by a device (in my case my laptop) from my main ADSL connection to a 4G one, by calling the OPNsense API.
Grafana and Pi-Hole
Even though I'm a DNS geek/enthusiast given my past, I love Pi-Hole
and use it at home on a Raspberry.
This allows me to block ads in a simple and effective manner.
(Of course it then forwards requests to a PowerDNS Recursor for several reasons).
I wanted to have a nice Grafana dashboard with info coming from Pi-Hole, so here's a quick post as I wasted quite some time because of a simple issue.
OPNsense API
I'm a huge fan of FreeBSD and therefore when I contemplated replacing the crappy router/firewall that comes with my ISP with a proper router, I looked at open-source software running it.
I initially started with pfsense, which was a fork of m0n0wall, but then switched to OPNsense whose approach I liked more, and which itself is a fork of pfsense. Reasons for the fork are explained here.
